Planning your Spa Day
Walk in appointments are welcome. Reservations are recommended a minimum of one week in advance, in order to ensure your preferred appointment time and service provider. Please note that holidays are often busier, and occasions such as Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day can book up far in advance, so please plan ahead. You may request your appointment online, or call 661-260-1244 for assistance making your reservations.
Customize your Spa Day
The Spa offers many experiences depending what you need. A solo escape to relax and rejuvenate, or a quiet way to spend quality time with your family, friends or your special someone. If you’re planning a special day or celebration, please let us know when you call and we can help you make the most of your day!
Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before your reservation to prepare for your treatments. Arriving late will deprive you of precious minutes of your spa treatments. Appointments cannot run overtime even if you arrive late because we must allow the next guest to enjoy their treatment as scheduled.
Schedule spa services with plenty of time in between
Feel free to ask a reservations agent for help in scheduling your day. Taking time after one spa appointment will allow you to relax before the next one.
First time visit
If it’s your first visit, let us know. When you call for reservations, just tell us if it’s your first time and one of our consultants will be happy to talk to you about our various treatments and what to expect. Before you call, take a look at our Spa Menu or read more about The Ivy Day Spa Experience to get a better idea of the day that awaits you. First time guests should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to complete necessary registration forms. It is recommended to arrive one hour prior, so that you may familiarize yourself with the facility and have time to relax and enjoy the amenities before your treatment.
Please make us aware of any health issues you may have. We can make certain accommodations and plan treatments according to health concerns or limitations. If you need special assistance during your visit, please bring someone with you who can be with you at all times. The Ivy Day Spa policy prohibits employees from helping guests in and out of wheelchairs.
Bring appropriate lounge wear and/or swimwear
You’ll want a swimsuit so you can soak in the whirlpool bath and relax in the steam room. Swimwear is required for guests having a Oasis Body Moisturizing Treatment. We’ll provide a cozy robe and sandals, along with towels.
Bring your own personal care products
The Ivy Day Spa provides plenty of towels, complimentary lockers, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as hair dryers. We also have some personal care products just in case you forget something at home, but it’s a good idea to bring a hair brush or comb, and any other toiletries you wish to use after showering.
What to wear
For a massage, wear what you want under your robe. During a treatment, most guests disrobe completely then cover up with the linens. Your therapist will ensure that you are draped properly throughout your service. Please dress to your own comfort level.
Bring open toed sandals if you’re getting a pedicure. Remember your toenails will need time to dry, so you don’t want to put shoes on after your pedicure.
Consideration of other Guests
Please respect the right to privacy and quiet of other spa guests. For your maximum pleasure and in consideration of other spa guests it is recommended that you do not bring your phone or other devices into the spa areas.
We strive to bring you the best possible spa experience, in every way. In appreciation for outstanding service, gratuities may be offered at your discretion. Gift cards do not include gratuities.
Please do not bring food or drink into the spa. Some beverages and snacks are available in the solarium.
Please do not bring valuables. The Ivy Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
